About Country Roofing Supplies

The firm Country Roofing Supplies was established in the mid 1970s. When I (Paul Groom) turned 40 in April 2001 my partner (Stanley Eldridge) and I bought out the company and changed the name to Country Roofing Supplies 2001 Ltd. This opportunity has given us the chance to try and put our knowledge, which is vast, to better use, dealing with customers of our own. Helping to locate materials and answer all questions put to us.

It's a smallish business, just basically dealing in all roofing materials, OLD AND NEW.

Since I left school at 15 I have always been in the building industry, starting in demolition and progressing to working in the yard with mainly old reclaimed building materials. This has given me many years of experience for all old materials.

My first preference has always been in the roofing side of building as opposed to the construction side, getting involved with projects from Grade I and II Listed Buildings,. I have worked with Heritage people, through to modern day buildings, but my preference has always been the older buildings.

We operate a small fleet of up to date vehicles, that range from small to a large crane-off facilities.

Accounts can be applied for on request, subject to normal credit checks and references.

We are situated in a small village in the countryside between Henley-on-Thames and Wallingford, Oxon.

Please try us out for any roofing job you have in mind.
